The Climate Investment Funds (CIF) is committed to gender mainstreaming and enhancement of gender-equality outcomes across its programming and operations. Since 2014, the CIF has been implementing the CIF Gender Action Plan (CTF-SCF/TFC.12/7), and its successor, the CIF Gender Action Plan – Phase 2 (CTF-SCF/TFC.16/Rev.1), to advance the effective and equal participation, sharing of benefits, and evaluative learning from both women and men in the countries with which CIF is engaged in climate action.
